Im going to be rebuilding the bottom end of my engine, but the problem is i need it to be smog reff legal.

im going to be throwing in some ctr pistons to up the compression. but will the stock fuel system and ecu be sufficient for a while? I wont be running it hard, its just for the test.

 

If you take it easy on the motor, I doubt you'll have a problem, but for the long term, definitely look into fuel/tuning.

 

and as far a passing a smog test?
