Default Y8 Crankshaft help!

can i use a z6 crankshaft in a y8 motor?
i have y8 rods n y8 pistions (crower rods n cp pistions) (king rod n main bearings) n a y8 head

if not a z6, how about a Y7 crank?
i heard that a z6 is better b/c of the chamferd oil passages n such, can ne 1 comfirm that i can use n fit w/no probs a z6 crank in a full y8 motor?

yes you can use a z6 crank.

if you use the z6 oil pump, the Y8 pickup won't bolt on. you have to slightly elongate the pickup holes so that it bolts to the bottom of the oil pump.

it's easy to mod the pickup, i just did it this past week. i was unaware that the pickups were slightly different.
if you compare the Z6 pump/pickup gasket to the Y8, the y8 has a round center hole. the Z6 is bigger, more elliptical.

well i bought a toda high flow volume oil pump 4 a y8 already.. can i still use my z6 crank?
