I have a 95 gsr I need to rebuild and I had found this kit on ebay that comes with civic type r pistons is says that with using b8c1 it would give me 12.04:1 cr at this site http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...06874

I here it is not safe to run those pistons in a b18c1 because the compression would be to high for pump gas is this true should I not thank about it?

 

What could I expect when using ctr pistons?

 

with compression that high you will get a ping and you will have to retard the timing / get a tune

i would recommend bigger cams/ a .040 cometic head gasket to lower the compression
