hey guys i'm very new to the import scene been a domestic guy all my life.
i have a 90 acura integra, with the 4 cyl motor. its just a basic ls with a 5 speed. a buddy and i tore the engine down honed the cylinder walls re-ringed the cylinders clocked 180 apart. all new gaskets three angle cut on the valves resurface head which i changed to a 97 head. everything went back together per my chiltons manual spark is good injectors are spraying properly. car wont start. i assume it to be a compression issue which i will check tonight but i'm to the point i need help from some quality experience. any suggestions or questions to help walk me on to getting this dang thing running would be much appreciated. thanks guys!

 

So u got spark, got fuel, what about timing?

 

x2 on the timing. That makes all the difference. If you adjusted your valves properly I don't see why your gonna have a compression problem

 

Thanks for chimming in guys. I solved the initial issue which was compression car light right off then smoke if you wouldn't mind referring to my second post b18 smoking. That would give you a more solid idea of my discoveries.
