well i got my motor running and noticed oil was leaking from inbetween the flywheel and block... i pulled the motor out and replaced the rear mail seal... put it all back together and started it again.... and oil is still leaking out of there.... what else could it be?

btw i drive a 96 honda accord

 

When you pulled the main seal off before did you pull off the whole plate or just the seal itself... Did you notice where the oil was leaking from previously?? If you took off the whole plate, did you apply Honda Bond before reinstalling it?? Let me know and i'll try to help more... Peace

 

it looked like oil was leaking out of the bottom of the seal..i pulled it out and just popd the other one right in... i didnt use any bond though...

 

you just pulled the seal out??? or the whole assembly??? I Honda Bond both parts so i guess it really doesn't matter... It's a lot of work to pull the whole tranny again but i guess you'll have to do it sometime... Good Luck
