Finding oil leak source?
I know its been posted many times and ive searched but didnt really find the right answer i need. I have a d16y8 and its slowly dripping oil. I dont have pictures but theres oil all over the left side of the block and on the bottom of the tranny, but not on the head or anywhere else. Where could the leak be comming from? I dont mind but my bitch *** apart. manager is threating to make me park on the streets if i dont get it fixed soon. Any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

is it leaking from the bottom of the trans too???? it mite be the rear main seal, behind your flywheel, if it's motor oil, but if ti's gear oil it mite be for the split in the trany, (where both pices come together) good luck and honda's take motor oil in the trans too,. check the dealer,

Expensive in any way, not just the dealer...
You realize that tranny needs to be taken off to see what the problem is, and that is not a 5 minute job... it takes time and time is money
