rear drum to disc brake conversion - help needed
Im driving a 1995 civic ex coupe, has stock rear drums on it and I need to find a conversion kit for disc, its a 4X100 lug and hoping to get it done soon. Any help available will be much appreciated. Let me know if you need any additional info.
I'm not sure anyone makes a kit.
I've always only played with Si's. But I have attempted to remove the rear drums from a CX donor car we had and gave up.

You'll be able to use the tools at the Auto Hobby Shop right ? They do still have them don't they ?
You can look at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com to find all the parts you may need or at least how both rear brakes are installed.

The bolts will be rusty and pain to remove. You may want to get new ones and use anti sieze compound on the new ones. As well as any bolt you install, ever.

the only conversion kit I know of is the AEM rear disc to drum but it's really gonna cost you. Cheapest thing you can do is buy an 94-01 integra rear trailing arm assembly with the ebrake lines and swap those in. They usually go for about $150-$250 I would say.

got my rear disc setup off an integra for $200.. i think i still need to bleed the lines more though.
either way just go with integra or civic si and you'll be fine

I had a 92 civic hatch with the drums also. What i did was picked up a used set of rear disc brakes from a 1998 GSR that some local guy was selling for $250. Got those, went and picked up some new brembo blanks for $70 shipped and some ceramic brake pads from pep boys and installed it myself. It's super easy, everything lines up exactly the same. Ebrake cable was the same length also that was actually the hardest part was fishing the ebrake cables trough the holes in the floorboard to attach to the ebrake handle. I'd say the whole swap took me about 5 hours, but in the end was WELL worth it cuz the car stopped a lot quicker.
be sure to use an integra proportion valve as well or you will have funny braking effects with about 50/50 front and rear braking. The prop valve corrects this.
