rear defroster

the electrode lines on my 90 CRX hatch glass seem damaged because when i turn the rear defroster on, only maybe three lines start defogging.

how can you fix this?

There are repair kits that fix that sort of thing at the auto parts store. Are there breaks in the lines that dont work? Can you see them?
