On a 1996 Civic EX coupe what is the cat converter size?
And could a carsound cat bolt up?
Which headers will be the best too?

its not for me, a freind would like to know.

I don't need to chill out, i just need to get an answer.
Second the last place i would tell him to bring his car is to a rip off place when I can do it for him for a bunch of

Anyway, to answer your question it isn't that simple. A 4-2-1 header design gives a more even power (well, uh...), and most 4-1 designs gain high-end power. What is your friend looking for?

Buying a aftermarket cat won't give gains more than 3 (very rare to gain above that) horsepower. However if your friend doesn't care about emissioms, have a muffler shop make a test pipe, you will see some good gains there. The earth is already polluted enough, one more shouldn't hurt - don't burn me up, I'm being sarcastic.

Stock is 1-7/8" inside diameter.
Don't know if carsound makes bolt on cats
Best headers is debateable. Some like 4-2-1, some like 4-1

And, yes, your attitude sucks. You're not the only one here on Honda-Tech asking questions.
