Default Re-wire Ecu

This may be a stupid question but I'm new to this. I have a 98 ek with a b-18 gsr swap. My car got stolen six days after the swap was finished. I got the car back but started taking out the Ecu. One of the wires is broken and starting to fray at the head connector. Do I have to get a new plug or is there a way to open this one so I could connect a new wire?

Pull the plug and de-pin the wire.
