radiator HELP!! on integra
so my friend bought an integra yesterday without realizing that the car didnt have a radiator cap on. after driving it for a day, coolant starting spraying lightly onto his windshield and coolant steam began to come out of the radiator. we checked to see if headgasket was blown but thank god it wasnt. we put a new radiator cap onto the car and thought the problem was solved. however, the water temp, gauge kept going back and forth from hot to cool. people have told us this is because there is air in the radiator. if so, is a radiator flush the best way to solve this problem? if not what is? HELP PLEASE!!!
i had the same problem in my car, cept i had a cap on it, The raidator probly has little air bubbles which causes it to disfunction, uhm, your best bet is to
1. buy a new radiator
2. radiator flush
3. change the theromostat
with all these 3 things you should be good to go,
good luck

You should try to bleed the system, more then likely your have air in the system. Unless the radiator is leaking i would save replacing it for last resort.
just fill up the radiator leave the cap off and let it run for 20 mins in neutral then fill up radiator agian let in run for 10 mins fill it agian if you need to then put the cap on
