Default Radiator caps?

Radiator caps go by the radiator not by the engine block? Need to know if i need to go to a crv cap or keep the same pound cap that goes on a 90 civic radiator. The motor iam running is a b20vtec.

Radiator caps are like thermostats, there are many different ratings available that can be installed. If you race this car or otherwise abuse it, installed a higher pressure-rated cap to prevent early boiling. This will stress the hoses, radiator, and cooling gaskets more, but as long as they are in good condition, you wont have any issues. Otherwise, stick with a stock rated cap for the engine.
