My friend was telling me about how the stock windshield was heavy and they make replacements that weigh alot less true or untrue???

unless you are an all out drag car..no, there are no replacements

lexan and fal windshields are lighter but those are for drag cars... however, they do have a better shatter rating than glass and they can receive more impact. but you get the gay little screw things to hold it on like on the nascar cars.

 

and they scratch REALLY easy

 

you can get the scratch resistant type
