Default Racing automatics

I looked back and couldn't fine many post of this so if there was sorry but when you are racing the automatic do you powerbrake in 1 then redline through to 2 etc. or do you have powerbrake in D3 and then at about 55 shift up to D4? Or not powerbrake at all and just step on it?

If you want to get good times, powerbraking for a little is okay, although I don't recommend it on the street as it puts quite a bit of stress on the tranny.

Get a tranny cooler....they're real cheap too.

On a 1/4 mile, you can leave it in D3 cuz I doubt you'll need to go into 4th. You can also use D4 too, but just in case it goes to 4th gear, you might lose some time.

Powerbrake in D3 and let her rip when the light turns.
