Default R head using B16A???

ive tried to look this up (cuz i know some one already covered it) what exactly do u do to the head to make it a type-r.. smooth out the combustion chamber port/polish in the valves, use itr cams/valves/springs/etc..
but does anybody know the exact amount u would take out.. cuz i know a B16 head in the combustion chamber, the angel of the valve when it opens the clearence is 60/45/forgot the rest angel, and a type-r is a 65/45/forgot the rest angel of air flow... just wondering if anybody know's the real mathematical reasoning in this?? i would like to know.. not just for mad Vtec y0!!

maybe i explained it wrong... lets try, if u take ur head to a machine shop, what do u tell the guy to cut off to make it resemble a type-r head?? from there i can at least match up specs and see what gets cut/milled/polished....

Honda lightly modifies an ITR head.

The intake + exhaust ports are lightly ported & polished.

The intake valves have a tapered design, making them slightly lighter and allow a tad more air intake. The exhaust valves are just stock GSR valves.

The intake valve springs are stiffened, exhaust springs are stock GSR.

The rocker arm assembly....mainly rocker pads...are spec'd out for ITR cam use.

Combustion chamber isn't touched.

This same treatment is found on the CTR head too.
