Default b18c5 with b16a head

will a b18c5 with a b16a head rob me of some torque, or is it an all around good idea?

well heres a little tip. a b18c5 head is basically a ported and polished b16 head with upgraded retainers, valve springs, cams, loss lotion assemblies and slightly ported and polished intake manifold. the differences are all internal. but if you found a b18c5 block with no head yes you can put a b16a or b16a2 head on it no problems but i would stay away from revving the motor past 8000 rpms a lot as to the b16 head cant take the abuse like the b18c5 head.
