Review and critique what I have. I'm in the Canadian Navy, could be sent out to sail with 48 hours notice anywhere, anytime. Likely will be gone for about a month. A longer deployment I'd have more prep time.
OK. Will be parked in an underground apartment garage. Car is a 2011 VW GTI.
1. Clean car, inside/out. As thorough as possible (not SUPER thorough)
2. Empty a bottle of Sta-Bil in tank, proceed to fill tank with gas and drive for 4-5 km's.
3. Park car on 4 pool kickboards LOL. Seriously though, to prevent flat spotting.. and why not.
4. Lube up accessible rubber parts (window seals, door seals, random stuff I find. NOT engine belts or anything)
5. Steel wool in tailpipes and other critter accessible areas. Also, moth ***** in random places, but not in cabin.. don't want a smell in the car.
6. Crack a window half an inch, AND then put the car cover on.
7. Remove battery and put it on a trickle charger.
THATS IT.
ANY ADDED INPUT OR comments are VERY welcome!

Dude you're leaving for a month. Just give it a wash and put the cover on it. My car sits outside all winter under a cover and it's perfectly fine for months at a time. I think you're going a little crazy on the idea.
