Electronic Issues
Previous owner of my new EG was a hack. I have wires everywhere, connectors unplugged etc. I'm assuming most go for the AC that was removed in the engine bay. Anyway, on to why I came here.
Problem: When I hit the brakes, my headlights and everything dim real low. Now I first thought maybe the battery, but it is a newer battery he claims. I'm going to test that tomorrow to see what it's putting out.
Could it be the alternator isn't recharging fast enough? Is there a larger amp alternator or anything like that, that can be put in it's place?

Ditto the above^^^ start by checking/redoing the main grounds and main powers...
Both batt. posts and clamps, the batt. to chassis ground, the chassis to engine ground, the batt. to engine bay fuse box, batt. to starter, alt. to engine bay fuse box, [both ends] and the main fuses, all these connections should be undone, both contact surfaces cleaned and then connection reconnected making sure they are tight.
If the above does not solve your problem, have a proper load test done on the charging system, it will tell you the condition of the alt. and it's output, the condition of the batt.
Most batt./alt. shops will do this for free, it only takes a few min., nothing has to be removed from the car. 94
