Default Quick Turbo question

hi guys, i always wanted to know where this end of the turbo goes to /// im new to turbo systems ///.
I know that these arent pics of a honda engine, but they look simple for explanation.

Not using an intercooler: one pipe goes to the air intake of the car/engine itself,
second pipe is for the air filter, what about the main pipe behind the turbo itself?

and also, how is a turbo powered?

and

thanks

that's where the downpipe from the exhaust attaches to allow exhaust gases to exit turbo and on through exhaust of car.

Hope this answered you question...

And a turbo is powered from exhaust heat and velocity from engine exhaust to spin an impeller that in turn, compresses air and forces it into the engine.

so, as i understand, a new aftermarked manifold is needed if i add in a turbo.

i used my artistic skills is it something like this? i have to "T" off somewhere in my original manifold and give it an extra pipe for the turbo?

OR: does the manifold come straight into the back end of turbo, and from turbo exists to the exhaust pipe

Thanks alot

no. you do not tee off your existing exhaust manifold. the exhaust has to flow from the cylinders through the turbo and then through rest of exhaust system. you would need a different exhaust manifold that is flanged to attach a turbo. most complete bolt-on turbo kits include a new exhaust manifold and everything else needed to make turbo fit and work.
