Quick release question??
I've try searching but couldn't find nothing I was just wondering if I could pass a state inspection with a quick release?
From what I've heard from people is that you can't pass the state inspection if you have a quick release, seeing how you have to remove the air bag?
Oh yea I'm from Massachusetts if that helps. so can someone clear this issue up for me?

from what I know is that you cannot pass the safety inspections if your car was equiped with a airbag and you took it off. Some say that if your SRS light is not on then you will be fine, but I seriously doubt that. What was suggested to me was put the stock steering wheel on when you get your inspections done, and then switch it back to your quick release setup when you are done getting the inspections. They claim it will only take 1 hour of your time to do this.
I am in the same boat and asked the same question.

Might want to ask to double check in your own area. I was told by the guy inspecting mine that if theres no signs to show it had it... he cant fail it for not having it (recommended disabling the light entirely, so i did and passed fine)
This of course was near alexandria VA which is kinda near NOVA where liquidgsr is at so all depends on where you're going i guess

I hope you can still pass with one, I took my old wheel out, ripped the airbag apart and threw the wheel through a window
But of course even if I don't pass a major station I can go to a back sticks station and they'll pass and if worse comes to worse, go to the junkyard, rip off an inspection sticker from a newer wrecked vehicle and smash it on your own windsheild.
