Quick question on rod bearings...
Hey guys does each cylinder require a different rod bearing? From what I understand, although there is no visible difference, each bearing is different and must go into a certain cylinder. Is this true?
Thanks,

Yes it's true.
When talking about oil clearances you need to start thinking about ten-thousanths of an inch (human hair = .002" so .0001" = 1/20th the size of a human hair).
There are slight differences in the big-end bore of the rod and the journal size of the crank.
You may end up with all the rod bearings being the same size (color code) but they still have to be measured and checked.
