Hi I'm new here, and my question is how to loosen the bolt on the crankshaft pulley to install the timing belt on my 94 hatch. It has a d15 engine in it. I've tried to loosen it up but it wont budge. which way does it come out? Clock or counterclockwise? Thanks.

 

Just keep workin on it, it took me forever but finally got it. Try bracing it with a screw driver or actually getting a pulley puller, good luck.

 

Either a beefy impact wrench or a beefy friend and a big-*** cheater bar are the easiest methods.
