Default Quick question about Radiator fan removal

Can you remove the stock fan and shroud and install a slim line one WITHOUT have to remove top and bottom radiator hoses on a DC2R? I had a quick look and i'm trying to work out if it can be done as it looks like a pretty tight fit..

Leave the stock fan on with the shroud or cooling WILL suffer. Only use a slimfan if you have a shroud to go with it.

And go ahead and remove the top hose. My wife can change out a radiator in about 30 so it's no big deal. Coolant loss if minimal.

Got to agree with the above, unless you have a good reason for switching to the slim fan, don't do it. 94
