Default Quick question???

This should be an easy one. I have seen some cars that have jdm b16's. What is the difference between a b16a2 and a jdm b16?

b16a2 = 99-00 civic si only
jdm b16 came in cars from 88-00? i think. in japan the number was left off of the end.

b16a3 = del sol vtec

broken down, a2 is obd2(b to be more specific) a3 can be 1 or 2(a to be more specific) and japan engines although with updated dizzys and injectors, still run an obd1 based ecu.(pinned the same as the obd2 a and b, but with obd1 programming)

technically obd0 = 160, and then from 92 on = 170.
the a2 (not sure about te 3) is 160 also.
