What is the code 3 on ECU - is that PGM Fi Main Relay or Map Sensor, or??

 

the check engine light fires after vtec is engaged the first time...vtec then continues to engage but the light stays on

also, after the alerting light for codes lights up, i get two long lights and then a quite short one so does this count as a code 2 or a code 3?

 

2 long & 1 short sounds like code 21. VTEC solenoid valve.

 

long = 10 and short = 1

 

yes, now i got that down...it was the apex-i vafc that had some wiring issues
