Default Quick Integra front bumper removel

I'm doing my intake install and trying to remove the front bumper. How do you take off those rubber phillips screws on the top of the bumper? No matter how hard I try to unscrew them, they won't move at all and only strip! This is so frustrating.

With the proper sized screw driver. If you strip them too bad you'll have to drill them off. Impact driver would probably work pretty good also.

No, this is WRONG. These screws are very soft and you will cry yourself to sleep trying to unscrew them with a screwdriver once they start stripping. Get some vice grips and grip them around the head and turn >> voila!

What's so WRONG? It's a screw, you use a screwdriver when you can. If they start stripping, use and impact screwdriver preferably or vice grips like you said.

use a stubby screw driver or a #3 philips driver.

spray the bolts with PB let sit for a day, spray them again then go at them with vice grips. it will work garuateed. i spray PB on LCA bolts everyday threee days before i tried taking the bolt off and it came off with the greatest of ease.

Only wrong because these screws are notorious for stripping. If you can use a screwdriver with no problems, then good. But all the shops I've talked to use vice grips. Just remember my experience before I knew about vice grips, and it wasn't a happy memory. Good luck.
