quick CTR intake cam question
I have a JDM B16a1 in my 90 CRX. VTEC engages at 4500, but it's a chipped PR3 ECU with a more aggressive fuel program.. I just purchased a CTR intake cam, and I know that they recommend that VTEC engages at 5700 for the CTR cam....I don't have a VAFC yet though, so would I be actually doing more harm than good to install it now? I'm going to be installing it with a Skunk2 IM and a DC 4-1 header... people are telling me it's gonna make the motor bog... I dunno. Thoughts? Opinions?

it won't hurt anything. i run mine at 4900 and have varied between 4400-5400 for the last year. the only thing it will affect is WHP performance which you can't measure unless you're on a dyno.
