Questions on take out the A/C System in my EM1

Well, what is there to do it? i got my own set of tools (finally), im just gonna take it out and bascially its gonna be trash

the first to do is drain the pressure from the valve. its located right by the ac fan.
Once you do that,
you can remove the hoses running to the compressor.
then you can take off the four bolts the hold the ac compressor. i kept my ac bracket on which is also held on by 4 bolts, so make sure your removing the 4 ac bolts.
take off the ac belt that is also around the crank pulley.
take out the ac fan which is on the right side of course when you look at the motor.
Then you can take out the lines that run all the way into the firewall and to the condensor.
you can either remove the lines from the condensor, cut them at the firewall, or unscrew them where the air filter is located. youll see the joints right around there for both lines.
You can remove the sensor or sensors that plug into the ac or fan. i forget whats there.

i have a 2000 si. on top of that i remove my power steering and cruise control as well.....
and all sound deadening material, back seat bracket back seat, and tar paper and back seats belts and brackets.
thats a great weight reduction

ahhah, yes it sure is, i plan to keep PS and such . . .i just want A/C gone for the full-race turbo kit
