I am thinking of getting a a muffler and having a custom crush bent catback put on my car to save a few dollars. I need 2.5 in mandrel bent pipe what size crush bent pipe would give me the same flow as in 2.75,3.00 ?

And why would you want 2.75 or 3.0? Turbo?
If your na stay with 2.25-2.5

 

Use a crush bent 2.5", I made 200.0 hp at the wheels all motor with a setup like that. The narrowest point of the 2.5" was still larger than 2.25"...

it's the fact that crush bent creates unnecessary turbulence that makes it so undesireable. nice numbers though.
