question when getting coilover, shocks and camber with 17s
if i get a coilover set for my 98 civic, like skunk or groundcontrol.....is it necessary to get shocks, if so which ones. or am i better off gettting a spring shock set. and is it necessary to get a camber kit when i get all those with 17s?

Re: question when getting coilover, shocks and camber with 17s (hobo79)
when u get those coilovers, your stock shocks will not last.....
it'll last but not for that long....
adjustable shocks are nice for they can adjust the dampening adversely
u can make them ride nicer with your stiffer coilovers
camber kit will be needed when u go lower than 1.3inches
cause usually u can get away with the tire wear by rotating your tires more often

Re: question when getting coilover, shocks and camber with 17s (BoM)
how long do stock shocks last with coilovers.......is it hard to install the coilover and shocks yourself or better not? if it was lowered, would it still have camber wear if i rolled on 15s?

hardest thing on the install of springs and shocks is removing the bolts
(rear lower control arm) coilovers are actually way easier to install than springs
some you dont' need a spring compressor.
im at a 1.8inch drop with 15's (rotas) i have minor camber wear. nothing too noticeable, i turn my wheels to check them every month...
on the other hand my friends got 17's and his inner tire is worn the hell outta of, all i can say is it went flat. cause he doesn't give a .
