question on trans/clutch problem
i have a 94 suzuki sidekick( i know its not a honda but i figure you guys would know best on this) its my beater. the problem is, a while back about a month ago when i would press the clutch in or let it out it would make this kinda metal scraping noise, but i continued to drive it because the car is a pos anyway and my motto on beaters is dont fix it unless its something that makes the car stop running because i only deliver pizza in it. so i continued to drive it and one day it just stopped making the noise and the car would no longer go in gear as if the clutch was not working. so my theory on this problem is a seized throwout bearing. and it just eventually broke off rendering the clutch pedal useless because i can still feel tension on the pedal which means it is still moving the clutch arm.
so i just wanted to get everyones opinion on this. if its just a throwout bearing, then i will fix it and replace the clutch and pressure plate, but if its a trans prob i will junk it. any help would be appreciated. thanks
