----Question for those using the Jimfab traction bars----
im still gettin a bit of wheelhop on hard launches/dumping the clutch.........
i wasnt sure if there was a specific setting you guys are using with them as far as how far out the heim joint should be adjusted........... mine are set about 5 complete turns out. any input would be sweet....... thanx

jim told me to unbolt the front of the bar and while the car is on the ground lengthen the bar just enough so that you can put the bolt through. which would be a 0 preload. jim told me that he has yielded the best results with this method, but if you are still having problems with wheel hop than load (tighten) the bars 1 turn and try again. keep doing so and see what gives the best results.
personally i have them at 0 preload, i lengthened just enough to get the bolt through and NO MORE WHEEL HOP FOR ME

ok so from what i gather from your post you say i should adjust them while the car is on the ground and not on jack stands??
so i should put the car on ramps and get under it so the wheels still have a load on them and adjust it this way....... hmmm this seems to make alot more sense..........
let me know if i am understanding this wrong........ thanx man
