Default Traction bar Question?

i have a lakewood traction bar i bought used. i have no idea why it's not helping any. the instructions say to extend the bars for better traction. well i have them almost to the maximum that they can go and i still have wheel hop. i have no noticed any improvement at the track or the street. and yes i've tripled checked the installation and it is done correctly. am i supposed to extend the bars? or shorten? or not do anything and let them be a little loose? HELP PLEASE!

I got a lakewood traction bar too, I just put it on and tighting it up and it help alot with my traction and wheel hop issue. And for your question on shorty it or extend it you have too short it a little not to much just to the feel that it tight on and it will not pull back when your on a hard launch. The instruction that Lakewood give is hella hard to see the picture and the instruction suck too.
