Default Question for skunk2 coilover owners.

I noticed that my adjustable screw\perch things are at different levels on each side but the ride height is still the same. Like my left rear is screwed all the way down to where the cup is at the bottom of the shock and the other one is like 1" higher and the ride height is the same on each side. Its the same on the front but not as dramatic of a difference.

my friend had this problem. he had the springs switched. the springs in the front are different from the rear by weight. check to see that u have the springs in the right sides.

yup the xxx.xxx.010 in front, xxx.xxx.080 in the rear. Its pissing me off because its riding like crap too, I can't figure out what the hell is wrong. Maybe an alignment would fix it?

how low is ur car? My friends car is really low and it also rides like crap. I think the higher weight goes in the front due to the weight of the engine and the lower one in the rear.

This is my solution to such high spring rates and shorter shocks for the SKUNK2s ~> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=255779

Look for my first posts.

And as far as your height goes... it will differ. If your really care about how the car handles then get it aligned and cornerweight-balanced.

Its not slammed or anything, its pretty close to it though. I can slide my fingers under the wheel well and slide them across the top of the tire. Its weird because my right front perch is screwed up high and the spring is compressed a little while the other side is lower and the spring isn't compressed. Same deal for the rear, I don't understand how all this **** is possible. Everything is torqued to factory specs, all the right parts are in the right place.

My guess is that SKUNK2 coilover springs are not the same high quality as Eibach (sagging) and that the SKUNK2 springs are a inch too short...

i think the lighter weight springs go in the front and the heavier in the rear... im pretty sure this is right... but i could be wrong
