Default question on lsd

im debating weather to get a clutch pack type of lsd or gear driven lsd... the thing is if i get a gear driven lsd would it break if i three wheel going slowly over drive ways and speed bumps... i noticed my car three wheels some times going over bumps and driveways. If the front wheel lifts off the ground and im in gear and i engage the clutch would the lsd break?

the LSD won't break with a gear style. It just doesn't have the locking power to do 100% - 0% lock. (meaning 1 wheel has 0% traction and the other has 100%)

I read in an older thread where people were debating between clutch style LSD's and helical based LSD's. That if your wheels are off the ground, your LSD should be your last concern.

Besides, you shouldn't have that big of a sway bar in the front anyways
