Default Question on KYB AGX installation

When I installed my KYB AGX on my Integra, I used the stock collar (the metal washer that goes on top of the bumpstop). However, in the instructions, it said to use the supplied collar. The stock one looks more like a thin metal disc and the KYB collar looks more like a washer and much thicker than the stock one. I suppose they serve the same purpose. I was wondering though if there is anything wrong in using the stock one. Btw, what is the collar for?

Also, I didn't use the supplied nuts that go on top of the shock. Instead, I used the stock bolts. Is this a problem?

I used the OEM washer too. No problems yet. How ever I used the supplied bolts. Two on each shock. One to tighten the shock, and the second on top of the first to preventing the first from backing off.
