Default a bumpstop question on my spring/shock combo.

i have the tokico illuminas and eibach prokits on my car right now. the rear shocks came with a bumpstop that was about 1.5 inches thick. i just used that one. i didn't use the stock one. i just read that some people cut the stock ones in half and put then on there, but does that mean that i need to put the 1/2 stock and the one that came with the tokico illuminas? also in the front i just used the stock bumpstops that were already on my car. do i really need to take them out and cut them??
note:i already searched and didn't get the answer i wanted.

If the damper did not come with its own bumpstop and you're installing lowering springs, then yes, cut the stock bumpstops in half and use the larger(wider) end. If the dampers came with bumpstops(like the Tokico rears usually do) then just use those and toss the stock ones.
