question for engine experts
I have someone who is willing to give me '90 integra that recently had a newer Ls motor with about 30,000 on it installed. The one problem is that the car was flipped about a week ago. My question is would that affect the motor, the car is a 5-speed and I'm sure the motor was not running for much more than a few seconds after the accident so i'm sure it probably wasn't running when the oil drained toward the head. So does anyone know if the motor is still worth anything without having to be rebuilt, or any problems that might be forseen? Thanks.
If it didnt run until it locked up or knocked it will be fine. a couple seconds wont hurt it. hell, some really high mileage cars dont even get oil pressure for the first couple seconds after they start.

but i ask myself, what about physical damage? check the mounts are ok, oil pan, rockercover, etc.
if these check out OK, i doubt there will be any internal damage, as Jared has said
