Hi Folks,
Am very new here but thru reading I am learning a lot. I have a '90 Integra GS 1.8L DOHC engine and if I had done my research right I would have purchased a slightly newer GS-R and gotten Vtech power. Alas I don't have it but I'm managing. My poor engine is dying with puffs of blue and I want to keep my car alive and have been reading up on the ls/vtech swap but since I don't have vtech I want to swap in a B20A block onto my B18A head. B-series to B-series should, I beleive, mount up no problems except maybe an engine mount or so. Has anyone done a non-vtech frankenstein swap and if so did you have any problems you'd care to share or anyone know of any problems I might face? Or even percautions to take advantage of?
Second part of my curiousity is when the engine gets done and I put the adjustable cam gears onto the new cams should I get it dyno tuned before or after I chip it?
As always any and all imput would be fantastic!

P.S. I did some searching on the boards here for this very topic and all i was able to find was the ls/vtech swaps so hopefully this is not an already answered question and someone(s) can help me out. Thanks
