hey guys, i know you probably hear this type of stuff all the time but i have a pretty specific question. yes i've searched for this as well, but i didnt get a clear answer. I have a 94 Integra LS with I/H/E. The exhaust is the tsudo N1 and I'm sick of the N1 style and the sound... it's just too loud for me. I have decided to get a new muffler such as the Apexi WS or the ES oval.... but im worried about the piping and if it will still sound loud or even worse than my setup is right now, so i guess that would be my question, will a new muffler help the sound? any help would be great, thanks.
depending on the type, a new muffler will only help to some extent. if you dont have a resonator thats probly the problem. also, a removable silencer will cut down on the sound a lot. but if yer lookin for a muffler that soulds really good then get a regular flowmaster muffler like on the hotrods, take it to an exhaust shop and have em put it inline with yer exhaust system.
