o sorry, its for my auto-meter tach, tryin to make it work, also , when the cars off, the tach sits at around 1100, not 0, is the tach no good??
red and white you can run to a power source, whit is illumination, red is power
Green is to read the Rpms (distributer or coil whatever)
and black to ground.
No your tach is fine mine does the same thing don't worry about it, i have a pro comp II so it will work fine.

well if you twist the red and the white together, the light on the tach will always be on. theres a nice little thing honda added on the fuse box, pre wired for 12v constant, 12v ignition, 12v light....all that good stuff. what kind of car is it?
The red wire gets ignition power. There are a couple extra pins above the fuses, one is ignition pwr. The green wire doesnt have to go all the way to the distributor. Its wired right behind the stock gauges, dont just have one ghetto wire running through the engine bay.
