Question about ITR shocks/struts
I just got some very slightly used ITR shocks and struts, assembled. They look to be in pretty good, but the pillow mount on the rear shocks do not look like they are sitting on there totally straight.
Am I just being paranoid?
Since there is a rubber piece (Spring Mounting Rubber - according to Helms Manual) there is some play in them, so they will probably mount up straight when I put them in - I just dont want any binding. I guess I could compress the spring and try to rotate the upper mount.
Any thoughts?

when ever i put suspension in any car, i like to bolt the upper mounts in first and compress the spring while it is on the car, thats a good way to make sure everything stays straight.
The alignment of the studs on the spring hat is supposed to be lined up to 45 degrees inward when the shock is sitting in the suspension. If that's what you're trying to ask about.
