Default Engine bolt question.

I know this May sound stupid but recently the bolts that hold the engine on the driver side treads weren't holding so I had to move to a size up with is a m12x1.5 and the old was a m12x1.25.
But they don't sell bolts for the 1.5 for the engine.. So will homedepot bolts hold the engine up or does it specifically need to be those bolts. Right now I have the homedepot just holding the engine with helicoils in the treads. Any advice?

Default Re: Engine bolt question.

depends on the strength of the bolts you bought. You should have just put inserts that match the original bolts but looks like it is too late for that now. Google bolt strength and figure out what your new bolts are.
