Default Question about COP

So I have the Hondata COP setup and was wondering if I can wire it in and run the car on it without a tune? I have a tune in a couple weeks but need to drive the car there so was wondering if the car will run on the COP without a tune in the meantime?

Thanks

Why do you not install it when you get tuned?

That's what I am doing but I need to drive the car there. It's not as easy as just plug a couple things in and go. It requires re-wire and other things and will take a good half day or so to hook up. I can't drive the car there and do this in their parking lot and no, I do not have access to a truck and trailer.

Some other people have said I could do this so I am just going to give it a shot and see what happens. I just need to know what I need to do in smanager. If anyone knows let me know. Thanks.

yes you can install it with out being tuned.. it will not change how the car drives vs stock plug wires etc. took me about 1 hour to install. i will suggest using a spare 2 wire plug in place of the distributers plug.. it all makes sense when you look at the pins provided. in smanager you simply activate c.o.p. acc sync etc. its all in one place. pretty simple.
