Quaife install
There's quite a bit involved to get to the diff. You have to open the housing (obviously). There are a couple of things to be careful about when doing this. I read about it somewhere. I can't elaborate on it because I don't remember the details. Then you have to remove the shift forks, then the mainshaft and the countershaft have to be removed. At that point you can remove the diff. You just need to make sure you have the right gap between the tranny housing and the diff. They sell spacers for this.
A Helms manual is a must if this is your first time taking apart the transmission. Sorry if I'm being a little vague about the steps that need to be done. I remember reading about it a while back.
