Default Q's about mini-me

first off let me start by saying that i already used the search and came up with so many different answers i'm going to try ask again. Dont flame.

Heres my question....i have a d15b7 and wanted to put on the z6 head. I wanna run the lowest possible compression i can so which head gasket do i use? Second question is....which timing belt do i use? I've heard VX because its still the 1.5 block but also heard z6 because the amount of teeth. Anyone know for sure? Last question.....which water pump would i use? b7 or z6? or r they the same? Any help is appreciate. Have a nice day

If you want to run the lowest compression possible, go ahead and get a good aftermarket head gasket that is designed to do this.

Z6 HG is the thickest D-series OEM metal headgasket out there. Use the water pump that's associated with the block (b7). Use the timing belt that's associated with the head (z6).

no i did search...maybe the waterpump was there but i bookmarked that link awhile ago. It doesnt say anything about the lowest compression...you only mention the Y8=higher and for the timing belt there seems to be a lot of opinions on this. other than that i appreciate ur help.

Check with aftermarket gasket companies like Mr. Gasket. The should be able to supply you with a gasket thicker than any stock gasket.
