Default Putting knock sensor on B18A block.

I have read to drill and then tap the hole for the K/S where the alternator bracket is located on the back of the block. Can this be done w/o removing the intake manifold, or are there any other locations where a knock sensor can be added to the block that are easier to access and work just as well.
Becasue I have a B18B head the spot where the breather chamber taps into the back of the block isn't used. Could the K/S go here?

Thanks for any feedback.

Tim

get a 17 mm nut from a honda, and test if it fits onto the knock sensor, then take the alternor bolt out and get it welded together, I did it on a car and has not ran a code yet. (5 months)

Weld a nut to the end of a bolt and put it in the hole at the upper corner of the head above the alternator. The hole the helms specifies to use to attach a lift chain to.
