Default Re: Putting ITR valve train in a B18c (Quick 200k Mile Motor)

here is information: I dynoed today 92.9 degrees SAE corrected:

158/121 and 118 at 5252. almost exactly the same curve as before
with same setup with a CTR intake cam. there is actually more from
5500-7000 in this graph, top end looks the same. from peak TQ at
6200 of 121, I drop off to 102 at 8000 rpm. this was a different dyno
and a hotter day also, so go figure.

my baseline setup:
3750 miles on engine
GSR cams, cogs, valves, P72 head
Ti Retainers
ITR block, LMAs, Valvesprings, 98 ITR muffler
GSR VVIS IM w/ported secondaries/portmatched, 70/60/68 TB,
computer, exhaust, stock fuel settings
ITR flywheel spun to 13.8lbs
GSR intake with fresh air and comptech foam filter
18BTDC timing
OEM ITR NGK plugs, NGK wires
need a cap and rotor
.007/.008 valve clearances
Amsoil 10-30w ATM API-SJ full synthetic

as you can see, 11:1 and stock GSR cams can be effective.
this car is untuned. if it were 12:1 and 2L, you would see
something wicked. 200 or so easy. cams seem to
like compression
