Push button ignition install on 98 gsr
what is the easiest way to do this? will it interfere with my alarm in any way? i got the push button starter from a totaled s2000, but i have no idea what wires i am looking for or any other details...if someone could please help, it would be appreciated

Got any pics? I'm about to install mine.. I think I'm gonna use the dimmer switch location and re-route the dimmer to the glove box or something. I don't want to put it where the cruise control button is because then the passenger can't see me push it.

NOS, from the instruction given by this site, looks like you can still crank the starter with the key.. The instruction say to splice but not cut the thick wht/blk wire.

If you cut it then turning the key to start would not start the car (obviously). That is your choice. It can be done safely either way. If you do have an alarm and you do decide to cut the wire make sure you cut above where your alarm splices into the starter wire. (closer to the key side). And make sure that you tape off the key side of the starter wire other wise it might touch metal and blow a fuse or start sparking.
