Default Pulsing on B18C-R!!!! help!!!

ok sometimes when I'm driving I get some pulsing.... I can feel it most at low RPM's and in 2nd.....

It only happens sometimes.. or rather sometimes worse than others. only low rpm's though. high rpms it's fine! And only happens when accelerating. If I hold an rpm it's fine. And in no gear it's fine...

It's not even that that bad, only in second it's a little rough. What could this be? Could it be my clutch? MY clutch doesn't feel as strong as it did before this problem. (I went to the track and beat on it a couple times really hard, and snapped an axle that same night)

It's a jdm type r motor in a 97 EK.....

HELP!

Pulsing can be caused by a vacuum leak. Don't get a ticket for pulsing (hehe). A vacuum leak can be found by idling the car, watching the tach, and simultaneously spraying carb cleaner in the are of the suspected leak. The RPMs will rise when the carb cleaner is sprayed on the leak.

also make SURE your O2 wiring is correct, the best way is to hook a Honda PGM tester up, and since it's OBD2, you'll be able to look at the voltages for both the O2's on the data stream function. i've fixed a few like that. also, my first civic, which happened to be my first swap as well, i had wired the O2's backwards and was causing that exact same problem, exactly. so check your wiring.

Mine seems to pulse a little sometimes, barely noticeable. My Ign. wires are not routed correctly, I must fix. Also I suspect my O2 sensor because I get cel sometimes.

PGM-FI tester is the term Honda uses for their scan tool, its stands for Programmed Fuel Injection. This is a tool the honda dealership uses to read DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes) when ur check engine light comes on. It can also be used to retrieve valuable info on the engine management system. Don't think it will be economical for an individual to purchase one cuz i'm sure its very expensive!
